Tajel began her career in Ascot within a multi-specialist practice. During her time there, she won The Robert Gorham Academic Award for Best Clinical Case (Endodontic). She strives to provide quality dental care with a gentle and caring manner.
She loves to treat children and patients that are anxious in visiting the dentist. She can help patients feel at ease whilst having their oral health and wellbeing taken care of. Tajel is excited to be working within a skilled, multi-disciplinary team at PPDP to be able to provide her patients with all rounded care.
Dental experience
She has completed her MJDF (Royal College of Surgeons England) examinations to enhance her primary dental care skills. Tajel has also worked as a Senior House Officer in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department in Berkshire and London. It is here she gained experience with complicated tooth removals, trauma, oral medicine and oral cancer.
She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics and fast orthodontic treatments such as Invisalign.
Tajel is a firm believer that a dentist should incorporate dentistry, engineering and art into their dental and facial treatments. This allows her to treat her patients with a holistic approach.
She can combine her dental skills with treatments such as dermal filler, botulinum toxin A injections, chemical peels and medical grade skincare to achieve the results her patients aspire.
She has completed numerous advanced aesthetic and restorative teaching programmes in the UK including the renown Christopher Orr Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry Course.
Professional Bodies
As well as been registered with the General Dental Council (GDC), she is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the British Academy for Restorative Dentistry, and the British Association of Private Dentistry.
Hobbies
Tajel has embarked on projects in Tanzania and Kenya to provide dental care in underprivileged rural areas. She has also raised money for charities such as Smile Train and Unicef by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and running both the Paris and London Marathons in the same week!
Tajel lives with her husband and her two young children. When she is not running around after them, she enjoys diving into a good book, cook and practicing her yoga poses.
